Microwave Mini Fallen Chocolate Cake
I have been meaning to make this recipe for a few years now. I had period cramps and was really feeling some chocolate cake, so ended up finally cooking this :) I would definitely use 1 ramekin for this batch instead of 2 next time, should probably cook a little longer.
Ingredients:
1/2 tablespoon flour
1/2 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt this is a bit too much, I’d go with 1/4 teaspoon in the future
1 egg
2 oz chocolate
2 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees if you want to use oven instead of microwave.
Make ganache in microwave by mixing butter and chocolate. Microwave in 10 second intervals and mix until smooth.
In standing mixer, mix vanilla, egg, sugar, salt. Mix until volume has tripled.
Pour egg mixture on top of chocolate, then sprinkle flour on top. MAKE SURE CHOCOLATE IS STILL LIQUID AT THIS STEP. IF NOT RE MICROWAVE FOR A FEW SECONDS. Otherwise, cake
Fold in until color is uniform.
Take a ramakin or glass bowl. Butter then flour inside. Add mixture in.
Microwave 1 minute, or bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
